Marco Travaglio is an Italian journalist in his forties, works with the Daily Republic and the Blog of Beppe Grillo.
Travaglio is famous for its "thirst for truth and for his absolute political neutrality of facts has never been deployed so they can criticize politicians of both positions.
Marco Travaglio became known to the general public during an episode of "Satyricon" (television program designed and conducted by Daniele Luttazzi aired during the 2001su RaiUno).
During an episode of April 2001 Marco Travaglio presented his latest book, "The Smell of Money", written in collaboration with Elio Veltri, which seeks to address the question of the origin of the fortunes of Silvio Berlusconi, who at that time was at the center of public attention, being a leader of the opposition in Parliament to the Government of the Olive and the next campaign for the elections of 2001 where it will be proposed for the second time as prime minister.
Travaglio's book opens with the question "Knight, where he took the money?" which we try to answer probing various documents, proposed in full, as the investigations carried out by un'ispettore the Bank of Italy, Francesco Giuffrida, and Joseph Ciuri DIA (Anti-Mafia Investigative Directorate), behind a load of anti-mafia pool of Palermo, to reconstruct the movements of the holding Berlusconi.
addition to asking questions about the origin of the empire and dwell on the financial entrepreneur Milan Berlusconi's alleged links with the Mafia, is also addressed the issue of conflict of interest with respect to certain aspects that would have occurred during the second Berlusconi government.
Marco Travaglio Knight was sued by the day after transmission for both the content of his book, called highly defamatory, and that is because they thought the public had attended to a misinformation.
The two criminal proceedings against Marco Travaglio ended in acquittal of first degree.
Marco Travaglio is one of the best journalists that our country has hosted.
Travaglio, in fact, is not afraid to publish his manuscript, since it uses always trusted and reliable sources.
Some Italian politicians have been trying to "sink" Travaglio the phenomenon ... But without success!
